Shawn Van Dyke is a construction business coach, an international keynote speaker, and author of two books. Shawn believes construction business owners should be as good at business as they are at their craft. That's why, after twenty plus years of owning and operating multiple construction businesses, Shawn became a business coach. He now works with business owners, executives, and managers all over the world, showing them how to stop losing profit and wasting time. He is the founder of the Built to Build Academy, which creates confident business owners through educational, training, and mentoring programs, enabling them to start, grow, and build a profitable construction business.

Pierrette Tierney

Pierrette Tierney

Pierrette started her career in home building at Pulte Homes in Las Vegas as a college recruit from the University of Southern California. After working as a new home sales associate for about 6 months, she quickly climbed the management ranks in public home building, most recently serving as Division President for Taylor Morrison's Bay Area operations. In her career, she has overseen the development and implementation of well over 200 master-plan, active adult, high-density, and luxury home communities throughout Nevada, Arizona, and California. In 2016, she and her husband decided to take their vast industry experience and apply it to the family business at Magleby Construction, a professional custom construction firm. She now oversees business development, marketing, branding, strategic growth opportunities, and runs Park City operations. Pierrette also serves as the first female President of the Park City Area Home Builder Association and sits on the Visionary Council for AtlasRTX, a technology company focused on developing Artificial Intelligence-enabled solutions for home builders.

Chris Hartley

Geoff plays a unique role at energy management solutions company sonnen, Inc., overseeing project management, modeling, and overall strategy to implement Virtual Power Plants based on the sonnen platform across the country. Prior to sonnen, Geoff spent six years with Prescott, Ariz.-based Mandalay Homes in various roles including Project Management, IT, Customer Service, and most recently as Chief Technology Officer where he helped usher emerging technologies into the built environment. Geoff studied Aeronautical Science at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, in disciplines including engineering and aeronautical performance. Geoff also serves on the board for the Energy and Environmental Building Alliance. His work with EEBA helps shape the future of high-performance home building throughout North America.

Ingrid Prince

With over 15 years of experience working in home building and more than four years as an industry leader in online sales, Ingrid's expertise in creating a meaningful experience for buyers and being in the forefront of using video technology for follow-up has made her a highly sought-after professional. In 2014, she joined Winchester Carlisle Companies' Dunhill Homes & Nathan Carlisle Homes as Online Sales Manager where she was instrumental in developing their online sales program. In 2019, the company was acquired by TRI Pointe Group – Trendmaker Homes. Since the acquisition, Ingrid was promoted to General Sales Manager. She has received numerous awards: 2019 Professional Builder 40 Under 40 Award, NAHB's 2017 Silver Award for Online Sales Counselor of the Year, and was twice awarded the Dallas Builders Association McSam Award for Online Sales Counselor of the Year in 2016 and 2017.

Starting her career 18 years ago on the Design side of the industry, Erica's role and interests have expanded over the years to include serving as Director of Design, Director or Pre-Construction and now Vice President of Operations. With a passion for sharing the excitement of our industry with others, Erica is honored to serve as President of the Board of Directors for Kids Building Wisconsin, an organization focused on elevating the construction industry by providing opportunities for kids of all ages to experience potential careers in construction in a hands-on way. She also founded a professional development group for women in the construction industry in southcentral Wisconsin, drawing more than 150 members. In addition, Erica is committed to continuous improvement and Lean practices as well as leveraging technology to improve our building processes, often speaking at conferences and guest lecturing for various university courses on these topics. She is a member of InBusiness Magazine's 40 Under 40 class of 2014 and Pro Builder's 40 Under 40 class of 2019.

Chris Hartley

Chris Hartley has 16 years of new home sales experience as an on-site sales representative, corporate sales trainer, vice president of sales & marketing and vice president of operations. Chris has worked with both public and private home builders across the U.S. and holds an active broker's license in his home state of Kansas. Chris was named Sales Manager of the Year by the Dallas Builders Association, a Silver Award Finalist for National Sales Manager of the Year at The Nationals, a Gold Award Winner at The Nationals as One to Watch, and Texas Star Winner for Sales Manager of the Year. In addition, Chris is an advocate for the American Cancer Society, being named a three-time Corporate Hero and is part of Team Determination participating in half and full marathons.
